Metro Movers is a full-service moving company in Arizona. It offers packing and unpacking, storage, and special-item moving in addition to its usual full-service moving. Metro Movers Phoenix handles both local and long-distance moves.
Overall Score: 3.7/10
- Value: 6/10 — Metro Movers offers regular discounts on its hourly rate, but we’re not so sure about the quality of its services.
- Customer experience: 3/10 — Metro Movers gets mixed customer reviews, with pretty unusual and notable bad reviews. Some of the stories are enough to scare us off Metro Moving altogether.
- Credibility: 2/10 — We couldn’t find registration, insurance, or safety info for Metro Movers. We did, however, find some weird discrepancies on its website.
Bottom line: Don’t use Metro Movers. Its customer reviews are concerning, and it doesn’t seem entirely on the up-and-up.

Metro Movers AZ Pricing

Metro Movers offers discounts. For example, you can find a 10% discount on its website. And it sometimes publishes additional promotions on its social media (though it hasn’t updated Facebook since 2021). Discounts can make your move affordable, especially if you select add-ons like packing and Metro Movers storage services.
However, we’re not sure a 10% discount really makes up for the concerning customer reviews that report Metro Movers failing to complete moves and dodging damage claims.

Metro Movers does get some positive reviews, but we think the bad far outweighs the good.
We couldn’t find any Google reviews for Metro Movers, and it has just a handful of Facebook reviews. Most of its reviews come from Yelp, where it earns 3 out of 5 stars.
Then we actually read the reviews. The good ones look pretty standard ― efficient workers, fair pricing, and careful moving.
And some of the bad reviews list typical complaints about damage. But there were also stories about the company forcing employees to work while sick or injured, moves that were never complete, and dodged damage claims. One customer even accused Metro Mover’s owner of assaulting them with a moving dolly and later driving by the customer’s house.
Stick with a more reputable moving company, such as Two Men and a Truck, which has locations in Phoenix.

Metro Movers is probably a real moving company, but we don’t trust it at all.
We couldn’t find Metro Movers in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s mover database. That’s fine for local movers, but Metro Moving company supposedly offers long-distance moves too. (We recommend Mayflower Moving as a long-distance alternative.) We also couldn’t find records for Metro Movers with the Arizona Secretary of State’s office.
Another red flag? The Metro Movers website claims the company has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and no unresolved claims. But its actual BBB profile shows an F rating for “unauthorized use of BBB name or trademarks” and “failure to respond” to customer complaints.
Customer reviews suggest that Metro Movers is a real moving company, and we used Google Maps street view to verify Metro’s headquarters address. It’s a real business, but we think it’s a risky choice if you want a reliable mover.

How We Researched
We started our research by looking at Metro Movers customer reviews and analyzing its website. Then we tried to look up Metro Movers in the U.S. DOT mover database and with the Arizona Secretary of State, but we couldn’t find any records for it (though we did verify the business’s location with Google Maps). We also compared the info we got on Metro Movers to our data on other moving companies that operate in Arizona.
