Pro Skater – Tony Hawk and friends help spread the word that there’s a better way to buy and sell real estate.
Tony Hawk and Friends Discover a New Trick
Launching massive Judo airs and carving in a concrete replica of the famous Whittier Clover Bowl tucked away in a backyard in Malibu, California, Tony Hawk spent a day with Home Bay in July to show off tricks and learn a few from the Home Bay team.
Tony Hawk teamed up with fellow San Diegan and Bones Brigade member Mike McGill and the film crew from 900 Films, to take flight in a fun, light-hearted poke at the real estate industry which is rapidly being innovated by companies like Home Bay. Tony and Mike are famous for forging new ground and pitched in to help get the word out that Home Bay provides a better way to buy and sell real estate.
Home Bay Shows off a Few Tricks Too
Residential real estate prices have soared to records levels and paying the dated 6% commission has never been more controversial. Access to data has put power in the hands of home buyers and sellers and many often ask why the commission structure has not yet evolved. Without sacrificing high-touch service and by delivering innovative solutions, Home Bay makes this fee a thing of the past.
Selling your Home
Selling a house used to be complicated and marketing your property costly. While the world has changed the real estate industry has not. Online services like Home Bay quickly gets your property listed on hundreds of popular websites like Zillow, Realtor.com and Trulia. Home Bay is unique in having a team of expert real estate agents employed by the company and working in the best interest of the customer (and not the agent). And with a Home Bay real estate agent by your side, you get all the help you need to:
- list your property
- get your sign installed
- schedule showings
- navigate offers
- close escrow
…all this for a simple, flat fee. That translates to an average savings of $13,000 in fees for Home Bay customers!
“…many often ask why the commission structure has not yet evolved.”
Buying a Home
Home buying today typically begins with browsing online through property listings and then looking for a mutually agreeable time with your agent to see homes. With Home Bay’s home buying experience, you book a viewing time that works best for you. You did the work and found homes to see; see it when you want to see it.
When you’re ready to make an offer, a licensed Home Bay real estate agent:
- Schedules property showings
- Writes and submits your offer
- Negotiates with the selling agent or home owner
- Schedules inspections
- Agent works with you to close escrow
It’s that easy, and at the end Home Bay gives you back on average $15,000 of the buyer commision!
Take Charge & Try New Tricks
The Home Bay team had a blast hanging with Tony, Mike and their crew at the Malibu Clover Bowl. These pros invented the McTwist and 900, made it look effortless and inspired us to do what we do best: save clients money and make real estate transactions easy. And like Tony, we’ll keep pushing the envelope to develop more tools and tricks that empower current and future homeowners.
